Veteran seiyuu and solo artist Soichiro Hoshi has announced he is kicking off activities as part of a new music unit “Isla・la“.
Catching his fans by surprise, Soichiro Hoshi, popular seiyuu – best known among 2D music fans for his work as Re:vale’s Momo – and solo artist, has announced the formation of the music unit Isla・la.
He teamed up with veteran singer, lyricist Kanako Kotera, and composer/arranger Leo Moriuchi.
The details of the unit, including how they came together, will be gradually revealed. A new music label will also be established with the unit’s formation.
For reference, as a solo artist, Soichiro Hoshi is signed to KING RECORDS however, for this project, Isla・la will be part of a new music label founded by the group’s members.

Along with the announcement of the unit’s formation, a highlight video featuring the two songs part of their demo “Silver Star Will / 金翼のContrail” (Silver Star Will/Kimu tsubasa no Contrail) is also out.

Although the complete details about the unit haven’t been revealed, their sound is reminiscent of a fantasy RPG soundtrack, which gives a glimpse into Isla・la’s concept.
The details about their music will be released on March 4th, and a livestream is also scheduled to be held on the official YouTube channel on the same day.
