Bad news for Wataru Hatano’s fans. The upcoming live tour is cancelled.

Due to the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and as part of the preventive measures set by the Japanese government, several seiyuu and anime events have been canceled in the last couple of days.

This time around it was Wataru Hatano Live Tour 2020 -ReIntro-, Wataru Hatano’s latest tour to promote his single Fuwari Fuwari, to be cancelled.

The tour was going to be held at Zepp Namba in Osaka on 08/03/2020 and Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on 13/03/2020. All dates and respective sessions are cancelled.

Wataru Hatano apologized for the sudden cancellation of the tour on his personal twitter account. He then added that his strives for his live performances to be safe, secure and healthy for everyone to enjoy and, due to recent events, that is in jeopardy for everyone involved – fans, staff, band, dancers and himself – thus the tour is cancelled.

Avex then released a statement on Wataru Hatano’s official website about the situation, confirming the cancellation as well as the reasons behind it. Information about refunds will be available at a later date.
