The second unit in the series is here and this time around it seems the members could not have been a better choice as they combine each of their own group’s energy and individuality and merge it together to create one track that will amaze many.

Track analysis:

1- エゴイスティック

Egoistic has a classy and refined intro delivered by the viola while it makes a statement of its solo performance in a beautifully executed performance. So, from the get-go one can understand that the intention to bring to the instrumental piece that instruments played by the characters featured in each unit. With that being said it takes no time for the instrumental piece to be invaded by a powerful bassline and drums performance.

Concerning the instrumental piece, one can only say that the choice to incorporate the viola and bass together was indeed a wonderful choice as Egoistic‘s instrumental piece became grandiose, as HEAVENS’s songs usually are, heavy and rock oriented, because of Ranmaru’s bass, and finally the viola added the final touch.

When it comes to mention the vocal performance, one has nothing bad to point out. It seems the members could not have been a better choice as they combine each of their own group’s energy and individuality and merge it together to create one track that will amaze many. Suzuki and Taniyama are no strangers to the rock genre as they have experience and musical careers to back up their talent and Midorikawa was equally a good choice as he is one of the old-timers in the industry that does not let himself be thrown to the background. So, all in all, one can only say that this track could not have a better combo. Every member has something characteristic in his way of singing and perhaps that is way their performance sounds so different and relevant as we are not delivered with something that we could have listen elsewhere.

Final rating: 5 stars
