Great news for Durarara!! and Toshiyuki Toyonaga‘s fans. The voice of main character Mikado is going to sign his first opening theme with his new single to be released this summer.
Toshiyuki Toyonaga makes his comeback after the release of the single “Reason…” with the new single “Day you laugh“. The news is being reported by Aniplex japan as well as japanese anime news website Moca news, Toshiyuki Toyonaga to perform the opening theme for Durarara!!×2 Ten and fans are starting to get excited for both its release and the the series start in this summer cour.
“Day you laugh” is going to be both penned and arranged by Toshiyuki Toyonaga himself – as he’s done previously with his songs – and promisses to be an exciting opening theme for what is one of the cult anime franchises in Japan.
Scheduled to be released on 12/08/2015, this second single will be available in two editions: regular / limited edition.
Regular edition: CD only
Limited edition: CD + DVD (regarding the contents is safe to say that it comes with promotional video, the first one for Toyonaga, and the making of, as Amazon.JP has listed two titles in the DVD)
Regarding the tracklist: it’s known that the single will not be a regular one (2 to 3 songs) and will feature a total of 5 tracks. Regarding its titles we’ll have to wait for more details in the next few months.
