Before kicking off its 3rd season of CDs, the TOKYO COLOR SONIC!! franchise unveiled the names and logos for each unit.
Big news in the TOKYO COLOR SONIC!! franchise! The units, that up until now were only numbered, finally get their names and logos unveiled. A drama track, made available on the franchise’s official YouTube channel shows the units getting to know these changes.
The units names, logos and lineups are the following:
SPHERE RISE
SPHERE RISE (once called TEAM 1) counts with the face of the project Arashi Komiyama (CV: Shoya Chiba) and Sora Kirishima (CV: Yuto Uemura).
Arashi is a vocalist and Sora is a songwriter.
Reboost
Reboost (once called TEAM 2) features Iori Takarada (CV: Soma Saito) and Haruhi Kaji (CV: Yoshiki Nakajima).
Iori is a vocalist and Haruhi is a songwriter.
BUMPEACE
BUMPEACE (once called TEAM 3) counts with Towa Sebumi (CV: Gakuto Kajiwara) and Mirai Zaizen (CV: Ryohei Kimura).
Towa is the vocalist and Mirai is a songwriter.
ULTIMATE
ULTIMATE (once called TEAM 4) features Kairi Kurahashi (CV: Shunsuke Takeuchi) and Kagura Takatsuki (CV: Takuya Eguchi).
Kairi is the vocalist and Kagura is a songwriter.
STRANGE LAD
STRANGE LAD comprises Tomoe Miyazono (CV: Yuya Hirose) and Oshiro Sakaki (CV: Yuichiro Umehara).
Tomoe is the vocalist and Sakaki is the composer for this team.
Worth noting that the TOKYO COLOR SONIC!! franchise is going to kick off its 3rd CD series this year. Before that, the franchise releases “TOKYO COLOR SONIC!! solo songs album -Recall-”, compilation album including all the solo songs released so far in the franchise.
And this summer, the franchise will be holding its 2nd live event, Tokyo Color Sonic!! Special Live～Grow up!!～.
What is “TOKYO COLOR SONIC!!”?
Tokyo Color Sonic!! is the name of the mixed-media franchise created by sprout and featuring character designs by the popular illustrator Ryo Fujiwara.
This franchise includes a star-studded 10 main character cast, with characters split into 5 different “buddy” units of singer + songwriter.
As such, Tokyo Color Sonic counts with a balanced mix of drama CD + music. On vocals, listeners will find Shoya Chiba, Soma Saito, Gakuto Kajiwara, Shunsuke Takeuchi, and Yuya Hirose.
