The Tokyo Color Sonic franchise is back for more. The 3rd CD season “Trust” and a digital single series are set to kick off this year.
Tokyo Color Sonic!! is the name of the mixed-media franchise created by sprout and featuring character designs by the popular illustrator Ryo Fujiwara.
This franchise includes a star-studded 10 main character cast, with characters split into 5 different “buddy” units of singer + songwriter with unique names and logos unveiled in 2023.
Tokyo Color Sonic counts with a balanced mix of drama CD + music. On vocals, listeners will find Shoya Chiba, Soma Saito, Gakuto Kajiwara, Shunsuke Takeuchi, and Yuya Hirose.

3rd CD series
The 3rd CD series is titled “Trust” and kicks off this summer.
The 3rd series follows the format of previous ones, there will be a “STARTING” CD, 5 buddy CDs, and an “Epilogue” or “ENDING” CD, totaling 7 CDs.

Digital single series
At the same time, the Tokyo Color Sonic!! franchise announced the start of a digital single series titled “TOKYO COLOR SONIC!! Moments song series“.
There are a total of 5 songs released in this series. Those are the following:
- February 24, 2023 – Arashi (CV: Shoya Chiba) “Canvas”
- March 10, 2023 – Towa (CV: Gakuto Kajiwara) “irony”
- March 24, 2023 – Tomoe (CV: Yuya Hirose) “Ittousei” (一等星)
- April 7, 2023 – Kairi (CV: Shunsuke Takeuchi) “Trip on”
- April 21, 2023 – Iori (CV: Soma Saito) “daybreak”
