Tokimeki Restaurant to celebrate 5th anniversary with special movie

Just in! Tokimeki Restaurant, smartphone game that counts with 3 Majesty (Daisuke Namikawa, Daisuke Kishio, Tetsuya Kakihara) and X.I.P. (Takuya Eguchi, Kousuke Toriumi, Satoshi Hino), is greenlit for movie adaptation! More details below.

Fans of the game have been eagerly waiting for an anime adaptation of it. So far there has been VR shows in Japan, in which the units have performed as well as other collaborations but no signs of X.I.P. and 3 Majesty getting an anime adaptation.

Today’s news comes as a total surprise for fans and, although it’s not really an anime adaptation, it’ll be the first time they will get to see their characters animated besides the 2.5D interactions that they have ingame. If the news about a movie adaptation weren’t enough to excite everyone, the announcement of Production I.G, one of the best animation studios in Japan, helming the movie has raised the expectations for it.

Tokimeki restaurant ☆ ☆ ☆ MIRACLE 6” will be released to celebrate the game’s 5th anniversary. It’ll premiere in 2018 bu there’s no specific date of release. The movie will be screened all over Japan.

The movie will count with:

Kanzaki Toru (Takuya Eguchi), Date Kyoya (Kousuke Toriumi), Fuwa Kento (Satoshi Hino)
L->R Shinnosuke Otowa (Daisuke Kishio), Tsukasa Kirishima (Daisuke Namikawa) and Kaito Tsuji (Tetsuya Kakihara)

The two units are signed under Universal Music Japan and so far have released several well received singles/albums.

It’s not confirmed if the units will release new music for this movie. More details will be unveiled in the upcoming months.
