Below are the winners of each category from this year’s edition.
Rising Star of the Year: Yuki Sakakihara

Yuki Sakakihara won due to his impressive vocal range, versatility, and active participation in multiple 2D music franchises in 2024.
His contributions to Bad Ass Temple (Hypnosis Mic), Epsilon Φ (FROM Argonavis), L4mps (18Trip) showcased his ability to adapt to different music styles and even to intricate, vastly different, singing styles.
Fans recognized his growing influence in the industry, making him a clear winner in this category.
2D Group of the Year: XlamV & IDOLiSH7 (Tie)
XlamV and IDOLiSH7 tied, in what was a surprising voting in this year’s edition.

I believe that is due to their massive impact on 2D music in 2024. XlamV’s album “Raise“ was one of the most unique and disruptive releases of the year, showcasing their signature sound.

Meanwhile, IDOLiSH7 celebrated its 9th anniversary with “Leading Tone,” which was widely regarded as the best 2D CD release of the year.
Their strong fan support and musical achievements – especially the innovation throughout the year – made them both deserving winners.
Best Band or Seiyuu Unit of the Year: Sir Vanity

Sir Vanity had a landslide victory, surpassing everyone else in this category with their innovative approach to rock music in 2024.
Led by Yoshiki Nakajima and Yuichiro Umehara, the band blends rock with diverse elements, creating a distinctive sound.
Despite originally being a lighthearted project, they evolved into a top-tier rock band in the seiyuu industry. Their twin vocalists, guitarists, and lyricists made their music dynamic and engaging.
Album of the Year: “Fictions” – Soma Saito

Unlike Soma Saito’s previous albums, “Fictions” focused on individual, one-shot stories, making it more accessible for newcomers.
Its themes of loneliness, nostalgia, and longing resonated deeply with a global audience. While not a commercial success in Japan – with the album ranking outside Oricon’s top 10 -, its international appeal secured its victory in this edition of THTFHQ AWARDS.
Solo Artist of the Year: Soma Saito

Soma Saito dominated this category with a landslide victory, receiving over 20 more votes than the runner-up. His album “Fictions” marked a bold artistic shift, focusing on standalone stories rather than a single concept.
Despite fewer commercial successes in Japan, he sold out multiple live concerts and maintained a loyal fanbase throughout the year. And the love for his 3rd album among international fans was there, leading to Saito’s undeniable win as your Artist of the Year.
Thank you to everyone who voted at the THTFHQ AWARDS 2024!
