The results are in!

poll cover

It’s that time of the year, the time for the annual polls and us in The Hand That Feeds HQ decided to make our first ever readers powered poll – and what a poll! Our readers were put before an impossible task – to choose only 3 seiyuu that they think are the ones with the best singing voice. After 3 and half months of voting, more than 3000 people participating and 16.992 votes later, we finally have the results out in the open!

While we know that this poll is subject to a lot of controversy we need to put in mind that this is incredibly subjective and that even us – THTF HQ – think that some names should have been featured while others not. For those of you who are interested in our take of this poll wait for it – we’re working on it as we wrote this and it will be out before Christmas.

For this poll we need to thank everyone’s collaboration – international seiyuu fandom and even some japanese fans participated on our TOP 15 SEIYUU WITH THE BEST SINGING VOICE – 2015 Edition poll. This kind of engagement from the seiyuu fandom was incredible and for this we thank you!

Is the seiyuu you voted for featured in this top? Would you add anyone else to this lineup? Tell us what you think about it!

From our end we need to thank you all for voting, spreading the word, dealing with our daily/weekly updates and sharing your thoughts with us. Not only this was our first massive readers poll but this was also the best social response we’ve had from our readers.

Thank you so much for making this the biggest seiyuu poll outside Japan and please anticipate more polls from us and some interesting surprises we have reserved for you in 2016.

Stumbling upon Mamoru Miyano's "Orpheus" in 2011 was the start of this journey. If music is thought-provoking or deep, you may find her writing almost essays (not limited to, but it happens a lot with Soma Saito's music). She's the producer and host of the male seiyuu-centric podcast, SEIYUU LOUNGE (see Spotify link in this profile).
