Tetsuya Kakihara’s “Kakikuri” to be released on DVD

Tetsuya Kakihara‘s “Kakikuri” is going to be released on DVD.

Kakihara Tetsuya’s Hinzakuri” (abbreviated to Kakikuri), is a show in which Kakihara and 3 special guests find historical places, visit those locations, learn about its history, taste some delicacies and enjoy some rest and relaxation time. The show started airing this month on Animax and is now confirmed for DVD release.


There are a total of 3 DVDs, each one featuring a different guest (Kaito Ishikawa, Yoshimasa Hosoya and Nobuhiko Okamoto).

The DVDs are scheduled for release in the following dates:

  • 06/06/2018 – Vol.1 Takada Shingen Hen (guest: Kaito Ishikawa)
  • 04/07/2018 – Vol.2 Oda Nobunaga Hen (guest: Yoshimasa Hosoya)
  • 08/08/2018 – Vol.3 Tokugawa Ieyasu Hen (guest: Nobuhiko Okamoto)

All volumes come with a bonus disc with 45 minutes of unreleased footage, a post card, a “Kakikuri” official map, and an event application ticket (only valid in Japan).

A special event is going to be held in Tokyo on 14/10/2018 featuring Tetsuya Kakihara and all the show’s guests.

All volumes of “Kakihara Tetsuya’s Hinzakuri” are available for pre-order on CDJAPAN.
