Sad news coming from WITH LINE.

WITH LINE announced today, in an official statement, that Tatsuya Tokutake is going to retire from voice acting on December 31, after 4 years in the industry (debut in 2015).

Tokutake thanked everyone for the support in this past few years and apologized for not being able to meet the fans’ expectations. He also shared that he hopes his fans continue to support the works he was on.

Up until now Tokutake was part of WITH LINE’s boy group, &6allein and was known for his roles in IDOLMASTER SideM as part of F-LAGS and in Tsukicro as part of Rigel.

Tatsuya Tokutake’s last work as a seiyuu is the upcoming IDOLMASTER SideM WORLD TRE@SURE 12.

Seiyuu part of the IDOLMASTER SideM franchise such as Takehiro Urao (F-LAGS) expressed their surprise as well as support for Tatsuya Tokutake’s decision to retire from the seiyuu industry.

  1. This is really sad! I loved his role as Suzui from Kakegurui and it seemed that he had so much potential to blow us away. Big sad 🙁
