Subaru Kimura, popular seiyuu and the face of Hypnosis Mic, unveiled new details on SUBA ROOTS.
Subaru Kimura, seiyuu, stage actor and rapper, best known for his roles in Doraemon and Hypnosis Mic (as Buster Bros!!!’s Ichiro Yamada) is going to release a memorial book to celebrate his 30th anniversary.
木村昴30thメモリアルブック SUBA ROOTS (Subaru Kimura 30th Memorial Book SUBA ROOTS) is scheduled to be released on Kimura’s birthday – 29/06/2020.
The photobook revisits Kimura’s roots – his family back in Germany, his friends, Tomokazu Seki (his boss as well as one of his mentors), Tensai Gekidan BAKABAKA’s (Kimura’s theater troupe) members and more.
The photobook is going to include interviews as well as an original set of photos taken in Germany and Japan.
Several previews are out.
Kimura released a couple of behind the scenes photos from his photoshoot in Germany.

Animate announced a special version of the book featuring a CD with a special song by Subaru Kimura about his roots.
More details on this book are going to be unveiled in the upcoming months.
