Subaru Kimura unveiled the cover for his 30th anniversary memorial book, SUBA ROOTS.
木村昴30thメモリアルブック SUBA ROOTS (Subaru Kimura 30th Memorial Book SUBA ROOTS) is scheduled to be released on Kimura’s birthday – 29/06/2020.
The cover is the following:
The photobook revisits Kimura’s roots – his family back in Germany, his friends, fellow seiyuu Tomokazu Seki (his boss as well as one of his mentors), Tensai Gekidan BAKABAKA’s (Kimura’s theater troupe) members and more.
The photobook is going to include interviews as well as an original set of photos taken in both Germany and Japan.
Several previews are out.
Kimura released a couple of behind the scenes photos from his photoshoot in Germany.

Animate announced a special version of the book featuring an original and exclusive EP titled SUBA ROOTS EP – with lyrics by Subaru Kimura about his roots.
