STATION IDOL LATCH! unveils details on 1st batch of CDs

The unique STATION IDOL LATCH! franchise recently launched but already news on its first 2 CDs.

Introduction

STATION IDOL LATCH! is the name of the mixed-media franchise created by AOI Pro., Amuse, and Origamix, supervised and in collaboration with JR East.

This franchise features a 30-character cast, with characters representing the 30 stations in the Yamamote line, the iconic train line that circles central Tokyo.

Each character has its design and personality inspired by each of the 30 neighborhoods.

The franchise hopes to branch out to anime, manga, games, novelizations, music CDs, concerts, and special events, among many other things.

A promotional video is out.

Cast

The project has a 30-person star-studded cast. The project has as its “face” none other than popular seiyuu, singer and actor, Kensho Ono.

CD releases

STATION IDOL LATCH!‘s theme song LATCH! ~それが未来の扉~ (LATCH! ~ Sore ga mirai no tobira ~) was released on 01/07/2021. The song is performed by Kensho Ono, Atsushi Tamaru, and Nobunaga Shimazaki.

Since then, 2 CDs were announced. Below are details on both.

CD 01

STATION IDOL LATCH! 01 is scheduled to be released on 18/08/2021, available in regular and limited editions.
