Soma Saito announces 1st album “quantum stranger”, to hold 1st live in 2019

Soma Saito is gearing up for comeback.

It was announced today that Soma Saito is going to make a comeback with a first full-length album and is gearing up to perform his 1st live as a solo artist.

quantum stranger” is scheduled to be released on 19/12/2018, available in 3 editions: regular, limited Type A and Type B editions.

All editions come with a special form to apply for the lottery (to win tickets for his first live).

According to news outlets such as Skream! magazine, quantum stranger is going to include songs with lyrics and composition by Saito and count with a special collaboration. Saito pitched in via his official artist account on twitter mentioning that the album “contains a wide variety of music genres” and added that fans can expect “dark, groovy and emo” songs in this release.

The contents for each edition are the following:

  • Regular: CD only
  • Limited edition Type A: CD + DVD/Blu-ray*
  • Limited edition Type B: CD + Photobook

* Retail stores have the limited edition Type A listed with Blu-ray. Soma Saito’s official website mentions that the Type A edition comes with a DVD instead of a Blu-ray. Regardless of the video quality, the Type A version will come with a music video on disc.

At the same time, Sony Music announced that Saito is going to hold his first live at Maihama Amphitheatre in Chiba on 24/02/2019 to celebrate the release of his first album.
