Popular seiyuu and singer-songwriter Soma Saito was interviewed for Monthly TV Guide’s June 2024 issue about the anime series, Astro Note.

He was interviewed about his role as Takumi Miyasaki in the romcom anime series, Astro Note.
In line with the charming and cute color scheme and the combination of sci-fi story and comedy elements in this work, the photo shoot took place in a world of aurora colors. In reference to Takumi’s excellent cooking skills, the shots featuring Saito holding cute props are a must-see.
In the interview, Saito spoke earnestly about the excitement of the anime’s story development and shared his thoughts on the daily life depicted primarily in the apartment setting. Additionally, his cooking skills were revealed during the conversation.

Soma Saito’s Comment
“(Regarding the photo shoot props) There were many toy vegetables and kitchen utensils. Perhaps because I mentioned “fried eggplant” as one of my specialties during the interview, there was a request for me to hold an eggplant in my hand for the shoot (laughs). However, on the day of the shoot (which was snowy!), it was very cold, so I thought about making a warm dish using daikon radish.”
