
SparQlew will now promote as 4 members following Shoya Chiba’s graduation from the group + music label.
Kiramune announced that on December 31, 2021, Shoya Chiba will graduate from SparQlew and leave Kiramune.
According to Kiramune, at the basis of this decision was Shoya Chiba thinking about what he wants to do in the future in regards to music with SparQlew and at Kiramune.
Kiramune continues by saying that Shoya Chiba thought about his future self and what he wants to do in regards to his continued musical activities with SparQlew at Kiramune and has, ultimately, talked with all members plus music label about wanting to graduate from both the group and music label.
He has decided to graduate from SparQlew and leave Kiramune, not being part of any of the music label’s activities from January 1, 2022, onwards.
Kiramune adds “From January 1, 2022, Yuto Uemura, Yuya Hozumi, Shun Horie, and Takuto Yoshinaga will start as a new SparQlew.
Each of the five members will continue their activities with thanks to their fans and the people involved. We look forward to your continued warm support for SparQlew and Shoya Chiba.“
Shoya Chiba’s last performance with the group was in the mini-album “Daybreak” in 2021, a release in which he penned the stunning solo track “Criminal“.
