Seiyuu to yo Asobi announce 2nd season’s hosts

AbemaTV’s Seiyuu to yo Asobi returns with a 2nd season this year and brings a new lineup with it.

What is Seiyuu to yo Asobi?

Seiyuu to yo Asobi is a variety show created and distributed by AbemaTV. It airs on week days with pairs of seiyuu assigned to each day, each pair of co-hosts following their own unique themes and formats. This is primarily a talk show that may or may not include special guests. There are challenges and funny corners as well as quiet sections with seiyuu just hanging out in a pretty laidback way.

Up until Seiyuu to yo Asobi’s 2nd season, the pairs consisted only of male seiyuu.

For Seiyuu to Yo Asobi’s 2nd season, Maaya Uchida and Tomoko Kaneda join in as the first female seiyuu to have a shot at co-hosting episodes for the show.

Seiyuu to yo Asobi is renewed for a 2nd season.

The hosts for the 2nd season include old faces as well as a couple of new additions. The hosts for each day of the week are the following:

  • Monday: Hiroki Yasumoto & Takuya Eguchi
  • Tuesday: Tomoko Kaneda & Subaru Kimura
  • Wednesday: Hiro Shimono & Maaya Uchida
  • Thursday: Daisuke Namikawa & Showtaro Morikubo
  • Friday: Tomokazu Seki & Genki Okawa

Thursday is going to be hosted by Daisuke Namikawa but his co-host will change every month. Showtaro Morikubo will co-host the show during April.

The show returns on 08/04/2019 and each episode has the duration of 90 minutes.
