As part of Rejet Fes. announcements was the debut of seven, you read it well, seven new units. “Star Revo” (Star Revolution) is the codename for their first handheld game (available for iOS and android). The game will feature a new bundle of seiyuu units among Rejet‘s already extensive roster.

Rejet will first release the game and on a later date start to release music from the game (similar to Tokimeki Restaurant).

This project was first announced back in August 2016 as part of the major announcements in the annual 24 hour broadcast “Rejet Matsuri“.

It managed to gather a lot of attention at that time due to the fact that it was Rejet‘s first endeavor to the mobile phone market. At that time only two units were announced. Yesterday, a total of seven units were announced which presents a major news for all the fans anticipating this release.

Star Revolution ☆ 88 Seiza no Idol Kakumei counts with seven units (as of now).

So, with seven units can we expect famous names in the seiyuu business to pop up? Daisuke Iwasaki (Rejet’s CEO) has always been keen of cultivating talent within his company, new names as well as up and coming seiyuu are usually part of Rejet‘s projects. This time around he focused on young talent, not without having on board up-and-coming seiyuu Taku Yashiro and Makoto Furukawa as well as bringing Rejet‘s veteran Genki Okawa back in the mix.

Now it’s time to briefly check out each unit.

The first unit announced was Despite the odd name (a common feature among Rejet‘s releases), the lineup is exclusively composed of rookie or slightly unknown seiyuu. Keito Okuyama, Shogo Yano, Takuma Nagatsuka and Taichi Ichikawa complete the lineup for this unit.

They made an appearance in the last day of Rejet Fes. (held yesterday). The song “Horoscope” featured in the latest trailer is from this unit.

The second group is also already known as it was presented back in August. 4U is the group with the strongest rookies gathered in one place. The unit consists of Yuuya Nakada, Atsushi Tamaru, Taku Yashiro and Makoto Furukawa.

The new units include:

Judgement (Junta Terashima, Yuuma Uchida, Yusuke Shirai and Koutaro Nishiyama).

Nico ★ Ichi (Toshinari Fukamachi and Tatsuya Tokutake)

Luna Lore (Yoji Ikuta, Shoya Chiba and Yoshitaka Yamaya).

Glorious (Tsubasa Sasa, Genki Okawa and Kenta Zaima).

And the last unit is Petit Marche (Daiki Abe, Yuki Yonai and Eijin Fudemura).

From now on we can only expect a multitude of releases over 2017 and maybe more units join the mix (Rejet has hinted that way).
