Track analysis:

1- Beyond the Limit

Beyond the Limit kicks off with a powerful drum performance followed by the guitar and bass in a rather simple souding instrumental piece. Despite, after this first few seconds into the track, one having expected a complex instrumental piece, what we get is an intro primarly focused on the bass, though the guitar does play a major role in bringing the background instrumental piece together at a later moment. The chorus, on the other hand, has the guitar as the main focus alongside the strings which did add some gradiosity and darkness to the already powerful instrumental piece. If there is something we can really boast about in this track is the fact that the bass completely filled in the desired role in Beyond the Limit, which is the spotlight.

Kobayashi‘s vocal performance is as per usual off the charts, be it for the screamo the vibrato, everything in on point. Yet another relevant aspect is the fact that though rather unorthodox, the clapping and the guitar playing together being, by far, a unexpected combo, yet they do add an extra twist to the track therefore there is nothing to point out on that matter. The break before the solo is indeed heavy, as one would expect from OSIRIS yet it sounds fresh and good enough to make one indulge in some head banging action. Needless to say that this track is perfect for a context of a live concert or festival, since it does have the necessary energy and all the twists needed in order to keep people full of energy.

All in all, Beyond the Limit does incorporate all the elements that OSIRIS is so known by. The amazing performance delivered by the bass which unmistakenly delivers great basslines, the guitar which never fails to amaze us with its solos or overall performance and lastly the drums overflowing with energy and power. At the bottom line, Kobayashi‘s vocal performance makes OSIRIS come into life with his awesome performances always delivered with the utmost professionalism and emotion, hence why their tracks are always something to remember, as is the case of Beyond the Limit.

Final rating:5 stars
