[Oricon Weekly] QUARTET NIGHT, Takuma Terashima and more featured on this week’s charts

We’re back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.

This article covers the third week of October – which includes singles and albums released between 15/10/2018 and 21/10/2018.

Let’s take a look at the data.

Oricon Weekly Album ranking

After dominating Oricon’s charts upon release, QUARTET NIGHT‘s two releases in their new drama CD series end their first week of sales with yet another fantastic – yet not surprising – set of ranks. Out of both CDs released in the same day, it was QUARTET NIGHT‘s “Fiction” that came on top. The mini-album sold 16.031 copies, ranking at #2 on Oricon Weekly.

Close behind came QUARTET NIGHT‘s “Non Fiction“. The mini-album sold 15.919 copies during its first week of sales, grabbing a spot in the last spot open in the podium. “Non Fiction” ranks at #3.

KING OF PRISM‘s latest album release KING OF PRISM RUSH SONG COLLECTION -Sweet Sweet Replies!- had a mild first week of sales with only 2.635 copies sold, but still forced its way to Oricon Weekly’s top 30. The album is ranked at #29.

Spring Troupe‘s “A3! VIVID SPRING EP” is featured on this chart for the third straight week. Sales dropped, taking the mini-album from #13 to #38. SPRING troupe’s VIVID EP has over 37.000 copies sold (cumulative).

Also dropping on the charts is Summer Troupe‘s “A3! VIVID SUMMER EP“. The mini-album sold 1.723 copies in the past week, taking the release from #14 to #47, this week’s biggest drop on the chart. “A3! VIVID SUMMER EP” has over 32.000 copies sold in three weeks.

NEW ENTRY: Takuma Terashima “Nameless Story”

Takuma Terashima made his comeback with “Nameless Story“. The single, although with low sales figures, managed to have a consistent first week on Oricon, enough to grab a spot within top 20. With 3.937 copies sold, “Nameless Story” ranks at #19.

LIP×LIP “Yume Fanfare”

LIP×LIP, unit consisting of Kouki Uchiyama and Nobunaga Shimazaki, is featured on Oricon Weekly once again. A drop on sales of 夢ファンファーレ (Yume Fanfare) took the single from #11 to #31. The single has over 10.000 copies sold in two weeks.

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints we’ve posted, it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information. It happens often with the Daily rankings. The Oricon charts depicted here only count physical copies. Digital figures are featured on a different chart.
