We’re back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.
This article covers the third week of May – which includes singles and albums released between 21/05/2018 and 27/05/2018.
Let’s take a look at the data.
Oricon Weekly Album ranking
#14
Buster Bros!!! VS MAD TRIGGER CREW
Buster Bros!!! VS MAD TRIGGER CREW‘s continues to impress on Oricon Weekly despite having lost some steam since last week. The album dropped from #2 to #14 but sold over 6.000 copies during its second week of sales, something that up until now, not a single crew part of the Hypnosis Mic franchise had been able to achieve (they are stronger on digital sales as opposed to physical).
This release has currently a bit under 20.000 copies sold.
For those that purchased the album, a reminder: don’t forget to cast your votes for the crew you want to go to the finals to face the winner of Fling Posse VS Matenrou. Instructions on how to do it come with the battle card included with the album.

Kakihara‘s newest album had a rather mellow first week of sales, yet the album never left top 20 during the first couple of days on the charts. With a bit over 6.400 copies sold, “I for U” sits comfortably at #15.

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints we’ve posted it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information. The Oricon charts depicted here only count physical copies. Digital figures are featured on a different chart.
