[Oricon Weekly] Tetsuya Kakihara, UMake and more featured on this week’s charts

We’re back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.

This article covers the 4th week of September – which includes singles and albums released between 23/09/2019 and 29/09/2019.

NEW ENTRY: Tetsuya Kakihara “GET OVER HERE”

Tetsuya Kakihara made his comeback with a new mini-album. GET OVER HERE was well received by his fans, having in return a solid first week of sales. The mini-album occupies #20 with 5,678 copies sold.



QUELL‘s first entry in the newest CARDS series joins Oricon Weekly chart at #33. CLUB sold 2,056 copies.



DIG-ROCK‘s RUBIA Leopard makes its debut with the mini-album DIG-ROCK RUBIA Leopard Vol.1. The mini-album, that mixes drama tracks with 2 songs, grabbed a spot at #41 after selling a bit over 1,600 copies.

Oricon Weekly Single Ranking


NEW ENTRY: Ra*bits/Akatsuki “Made in Doki Doki / Gekka muso, beninomai”

Ensemble stars! Ending theme Vol.2, release featuring new songs by Ra*bits and Akatsuki, enters Oricon Weekly chart at #22. The single sold a total of 4,211 copies.


NEW ENTRY: UMake “Double Rainbow” 

The singer-songwriter duo, UMake, is back with a new single. Double Rainbow fared well on the daily charts and grabs a solid spot at #38 after selling 1,661 copies.


Given “Marutsuke / Fuyu no hanashi”

Given‘s Marutsuke / Fuyu no hanashi continues its successful run on the Oricon charts. Despite the fact that the single dropped from #19 to #39, it still sold a bit over 1,500 copies, amounting to over 6,000 copies sold in two weeks.

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints we’ve posted, it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information. It happens often with the Daily rankings. The Oricon charts depicted here only count physical copies. Digital figures are featured on a different chart.
