Back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.

This article covers the 2nd week of January – which includes singles and albums released between 10/01/2022 and 16/01/2022.

Let’s take a look at the data.

Oricon Weekly Albums Ranking

#5

NEW ENTRY: IDOLiSH7 “Opus”

IDOLiSH7‘s emotional 2nd full-length album “Opus” was extremely well received, entering the top 10 with a lot of ease.

“Opus” sold 20,017 copies in its first week of sales, taking a spot at #5.

Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking

#9

NEW ENTRY: FRAME “THE IDOLM@STER SideM GROWING SIGN@L 03 FRAME”

FRAME‘s entry in the ongoing GROWING SIGN@L CD series in the IDOLM@STER SideM franchise takes a seat at #9.

THE IDOLM@STER SideM GROWING SIGN@L 03 FRAME” sold 4,200 copies in its first week of sales.

#10

NEW ENTRY: GRANRODEO “Kami mo Hotokemo”

GRANRODEO kicked off 2022 with one of the most unique – and impressive – singles released to date in “Kami mo Hotokemo“.

Despite that, the single got a lukewarm reception, selling 2,633 copies, just enough to take a spot at #10.

#46

RE-ENTRY: C.FIRST “THE IDOLM@STER SideM GROWING SIGN@L 02 C.FIRST”

After two weeks away from top 50, C.FIRST re-enters the chart at #46 with their CD “THE IDOLM@STER SideM GROWING SIGN@L 02 C.FIRST”.

The single sold 412 copies in the past week.

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints posted, it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information.

It happens often with the Daily rankings. The Oricon charts depicted here only count physical copies. Digital figures are featured on a different chart.
