jan 1st week oricon

We’re back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.

This article covers the first week of January – which includes singles and albums released between 07/01/2019 and 13/01/2019.

Let’s take a look at the data.

Matenro‘s “Matenro -onnin rinshou” continues to hold its own on Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. The single slipped from #23 to #48 but the sales consistency is still there. The single continues, week after week, selling around 1000 copies since rejoining top 50 in December 2018.

We’ve reviewed this release. You can find our review HERE.

A note that this week there were no male seiyuu/2D projects featured in the “Album” category.

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints we’ve posted, it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information. It happens often with the Daily rankings. The Oricon charts depicted here only count physical copies. Digital figures are featured on a different chart.
