OLDCODEX announced the release of their 8th single on 11/13/2013, which will be the ending theme for the anime “Kuroko no Basuke”.

Tatsuhisa Suzuki, also known as ta_2 (tatsu) in the band, is also voicing a character from the anime.

OLDCODEX, a Japanese rock band, has had the privilege of having their songs featured in multiple anime over the years. One such example is their single “Rage On” which was used in the anime FREE! Another example is their single “Crossing Fate” which was used in the anime Togainu no Chi.

Similarly, their single “The Misfit Go” was used in the anime Arata Kangatari.

In addition to these, the first season of the anime Kuroko no Basket had their song “Catal Rhythm (カタルリズム)” featured as the ending theme.

OLDCODEX’s music has been enjoyed by many anime fans and their contributions to the anime industry have been greatly appreciated.

The title of the new single is yet to be announced but we already know that it will be released in two different editions: regular and limited edition and are already available at cdjapan for preorder for all overseas fans.
