OLDCODEX goes on hiatus + cancels release of “Heading to Over – Version:Free -“

OLDCODEX

Lantis announced that OLDCODEX will be going on a hiatus following the recent events with Tatsuhisa Suzuki.

Lantis announced this week that OLDCODEX will be going on a hiatus effective immediately.

This announcement arrives after Tatsuhisa Suzuki announced that he is going on hiatus from all activities – including quitting roles he was yet to record for a couple of anime series – following the recent scandal that took over social media and news outlets in Japan.

As such, Lantis announced that OLDCODEX’s recently announced single “Heading to Over – Version:Free –“, that was going to be featured as the theme song for Free!-the Final Stroke- PART 1, is cancelled.

Due to the cancellation, Kyoani delayed the release of the teaser video for Free!-the Final Stroke- PART 1.

For more details on OLDCODEX’s hiatus, please refer to Lantis’ official website.

Mamoru Miyano's "Dressing" is a phenomenal single that takes him to neon-filled soundscape with synthwave, complementing it with a deeply emotional orchestral song to wrap it all up neatly in 2024.
