According to Irino’s comment on this song shared by Japanese news outlets, he created the demo for this track around April 2020 – hence the title “April” – during a time in which the daily routine drastically changed, being replaced with the cancellation of events, halting of work activities, and isolation.
The song was born out of Irino’s will to challenge himself during that time.
