Miyano Mamoru: PV revealed for “Identity”

Never the mix between traditional Japanese music and western music felt so meant to be. Miyano Mamoru’s new single, the addictive “Identity” is out.

We start off this song with that one japanese instrument that we love, the shimasen (the three string “guitar” you get to see on the video) and quickly the synths guide you to Miyano’s hypnotizing voice. “Identity” was written by Miyano-san himself and is the first single coming from the new album “PASSAGE” scheduled to be released on 09/18/13 and available for preorder for all overseas fans on cdjapan.

This music already sounded pretty good online in its 55 second preview made on Miyano’s radio show but with the full version we can say that this song is incredibly addictive, especially the chorus. A good and strong first single setting the stakes high for the rest of the album.

The choreography once again is incredible and full of energy with, both dancers and Miyano dancing in traditional clothes showing us the mix between the eastern and western cultures be it in the lyrics, instrumental or the clothes.

Aside from all this the release of the album is pretty close and we will review it as soon as we get a copy of it so you can wait for a review to come on the 19th Sept.
