Mark Ishii

After going on hiatus to recover from adjustment disorder in 2019, Mark Ishii announced this month his return to the seiyuu industry.

Mark Ishii, talented male seiyuu best known for his work in anime series such as Cardfight!! Vanguard G and Haikyuu!!: Riku vs. Kuu, has announced his return to the seiyuu industry after going on hiatus in December 2019 to treat Adjustment disorder, a stress-related condition.

He also confirmed that he has ” (…) recovered both physically and mentally (…)” and thanks his fans and fellow seiyuu for worrying about himself.

In the announcement, Ishii confirmed as well that he is now signed with Aksent, seiyuu talent agency that currently represents Kazuma Horie and Shogo Batori.

A note that Mark Ishii parted ways with Just Production Inc. in 2019 to focus on his recovery.

A warm welcome to Mark Ishii!
