Just in! Mamoru Miyano has announced a double release set to hit the stores before the end of this year. With two new singles set to be released at exactly the same time, Mamo is back at full throttle.
Miyano‘s 15th single is titled “Tempest” and is set to be featured as the opening theme for Fall anime “Uta no Prince Sama Legend Star“, based on the insanely popular otome/rhythm game “Uta no Prince Sama“. The anime series will hit its fourth season this year and like it has been since the first season, Miyano not only is reprising his voice of the charming Tokiya Ichinose but he’s also going to sing the opening theme.
“Tempest” is set to be released on 12/10/2016, available in a single edition.
Also announced at the same time was Miyano‘s 16th single. Titled “The Birth“, this single seems to have a different tone from “Tempest” that will count once again with ELEMENTS GARDEN Agematsu‘s powerful synth and guitar combination.
Produced by Jin Nakamura, one of the best producers in Japan, producer of some of Mamo‘s major hits known for its massive array of emotions and mellower rhythms like “HOW CLOSE YOU ARE” and “Identity“, is back on board for the title track. So it’s safe to say that the feel of this track will be completely different from “Tempest“.
“The birth” is also set to be released on 12/10/2016, available as well in a single edition. The track is set to be featured as the theme song for the movie “Ajin Part 3: Shougeki” that premieres this September.
Both singles are already available for pre-order on CDJAPAN.
