Mamoru Miyano‘s new song will channel the Hero in all of us, as well as debut on one of Japan’s most popular TV shows.
Miyano announced yesterday, via his official LINE blog, that he’s going to feature a new song on NHK’s Minna no Uta, 5 minute TV show that airs in NHK since 1961. The show’s incredibly popular and is known for introducing new music or popular music to its viewers/listeners as well as showcase other talents. The TV show features monthly lineups of new music and rebroadcasts.
The new song is titled ぼくはヒーロー (Boku wa Hero). The song has composition and lyrics by Tomomi Narimoto & Keiichi Kondo.
According to Miyano, “Everyone can be a Hero if they have something important to protect“. He wanted this song to convey that to all generations. He added that the song is cheerful and heartwarming at the same time.
ぼくはヒーロー (Boku wa Hero) is going to be featured on Minna no Uta from 01/02/2019 to 01/03/2019.
