Mamoru Miyano and Yuki Kaji join cast of “Kimi no Hana ni Naru” TV drama

Yuki Kaji Mamoru Miyano Kimi no Hana ni Naru

In the past couple of years, popular seiyuu and pop superstar Mamoru Miyano has been getting guest roles in Japanese TV dramas and shining in stage plays.

In October 2022, Miyano got his first ever regular role in a TV drama as he was recently cast in the Japanese TV romance drama, Kimi no Hana ni Naru (君の花になる) which recently premiered on TBS.

Miyano acts as Kenji Soegi, manager of the in-story idol group, 8LOOM. Soegi is known for being quite expressive, even borderline eccentric. He is a former idol turned manager.

[UPDATED on November 5, 2022] Popular seiyuu and author Yuki Kaji has also joined the cast of the series starting from episode 3. Kaji acts as Toshi, Soeji’s boyfriend.
