Makoto Furukawa Announces New Single “Place your bets” + 1st Live Show

Makoto Furukawa is getting ready to release a 5th anniversary single this summer titled “Place your bets” as well as hold his 1st live show later in the year.

New single details

Place your bets” is scheduled to be released on 05/07/2023, available in regular and limited versions.

The cover art is the following for each edition:

  • Makoto Furukawa Place your bets regular edition
  • Makoto Furukawa Place your bets limited edition

This single arrives to celebrate Furukawa’s 5th anniversary as a solo artist. All songs in this single have lyrics by Makoto Furukawa.

The tracklist is the following:

1 - “Place your bets”
2 - rainy day
3 - “Place your bets” -Instrumental-
4 - rainy day -Instrumental-

The music video for “Place your bets” is going to premiere on July 2, 2023.

The contents for each edition are the following:

  • Regular: CD only
  • Limited: CD + Blu-ray

1st Live Show

Lastly, it was announced that Makoto Furukawa’s 1st live show will take place on November 12th, 2023.

Furukawa Makoto 1st Re-Live “Call” in the BOX is going to be held at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo and ticket pre-sale lottery application for this performance will be included as a bonus in the 5th-anniversary commemorative single.

As a side note: in 2021, Makoto Furukawa held his 1st online live show MAKOTO FURUKAWA Streaming Kinema “from fairytale”. After that, the live show was released on Blu-ray in the limited edition of “ROOM of No Name“.

Furukawa is riding on a lot of momentum after a perfect streak of releases with 2022’s “Ware, bara ni insu” and “Ibara Rinbukyoku“.
