MAD TRIGGER CREW VS Matenro is making history within the franchise.

ORICON NEWS announced today that MAD TRIGGER CREW VS Matenro, album released on 14/11/2018 part of Hypnosis Mic‘s Battle Season series, sold 72.000 copies during its first week of sales, claiming the coveted #1 on Oricon’s Weekly Album chart (a note that Oricon Weekly’s results are announced every Wednesday) after completely dominating Oricon’s Daily Album chart.

Earlier this year Buster Bros!!! VS MAD TRIGGER CREW had been really close to the feat but ended up claiming #2. MAD TRIGGER CREW VS Matenro is the first ever release in the Hypnosis Mic franchise to claim #1 on Oricon Weekly.

Congratulations are in order for this impressive feat!
