Koji Yusa to celebrate 50th anniversary with a special radio CD release

Veteran seiyuu Koji Yusa is going to celebrate his birthday with a special radio CD.

Koji Yusa celebrates his 50th anniversary in August. To make that milestone memorable, Yusa teamed up with Pony Canyon to release a special radio/drama CD titled “io“, scheduled to be released on 19/09/2018. This CD is going to be available in limited and kyanime (exclusive in Japan) editions.

This radio/drama CD is going to include stories from his childhood, with some of those being acted in special drama parts. For the drama parts, the CD counts with some of his closest friends as his co-stars: Kousuke Toriumi, Hiroyuki Yoshino and Hiroki Yasumoto.

The contents for each edition are the following:

  • Limited: CD + Special digipack + special booklet + Original 3-sided Box + Special video + priority ticket for the scheduled talk event (date to be announced)
  • Kyanime: CD + Special digipack + special booklet + Original 3-sided Box + Special video + bonus footage + priority ticket for the scheduled talk event (date to be announced)

A talk event to celebrate the release of this CD has been decided, more details will be unveiled via Yusa‘s official website and twitter account (links below).
