Kensho Ono unveils details on upcoming album “Take the TOP”

kensho ono 2017 profile

The first details on Kensho Ono‘s upcoming first full length album are out.

Take the TOP” is going to be released on 26/02/2018 (day in which he celebrates his 5th anniversary as a solo artist), available in two editions: regular and limited + Blu-ray.

The cover art, although easily noticeable in the short version of the music video released today (by the end of it), unfortunately it’s still in low quality. Lantis will update the cover art as well as the new artist photos soon.

The album will count with a total of 10 tracks, some of those already known to his fans. Lantis confirmed that “FANTASTIC TUNE“, “TOUCH“, “ZERO“, “STORY“, “Night Drivin’” and “Against The Wind” will be included on this release. One of the new songs is composed by veteran Japanese rock band The Band Apart.

A short preview of the music video for “Take the TOP” is already up on Lantis’ official youtube channel:

The contents for each edition are the following:

  • Regular: CD only
  • Limited: CD + Blu-ray (music video for “Take the TOP”) + Booklet

More details on this release – cover art, tracklist, artist photos – are going to be unveiled in the upcoming weeks, make sure to be on the look out for more updates.

Take the TOP” is available for pre-order on CDJAPAN for all overseas fans.
