Kenichi Suzumura & Hiroshi Kamiya are the first seiyuu to be featured on “Toei Star Calendar”

In a year of setting records and breaking barriers for seiyuu, Kenichi Suzumura and Hiroshi Kamiya join in and contribute, being the first seiyuu to be featured on the legendary “Toei Star Calendar“.

History is written once again by seiyuu this year.

For those that know what is so fantastic about this feat is here a brief explanation. “Toei Star Calendar” has been on sale since 1957 and usually features the top actors of the year on it. This is one of the most important and best selling calendars year after year. But never in 60 years of history were seiyuu featured on it. This year, history is made: Kenichi Suzumura and Hiroshi Kamiya are the first seiyuu to be featured on it.

Animeanime japan mentions that “This is the first time that voice actors will appear on the Toei star calendar.

The calendar is on sale on Toei’s online stores (Japan only).

Kenichi Suzumura and Hiroshi Kamiya host radio show “Kenichi Suzumura – Hiroshi Kamiya no Rajiranger” (東映公認 鈴村健一・神谷浩史の仮面ラジレンジャー), the show is sponsored by Toei.
