Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION- smartphone game to launch next week

Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION- has a confirmed launch date.

Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION-, new game project developed by GMO Internet based and in the same universe as the popular manga Kaikan ♥ Phrase, is going to launch on 15/10/2019 on Android.

The iOS is still awaiting the green light to be launched and won’t be launched on the same day as planned for Android users.

The game was originally planned for launch in spring 2019 but it was later delayed.

Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION- is a spin off to the original Kaikan ♥ PhraseNEXT game.

The game is going to be fully voiced (with parts recorded using the dummy head mic) and the story is similar in length with a visual novel (over 150.000 words) and quality. The game includes dating simulation and band development elements.

The protagonist is Miu Koharu (player character). She’s a third-year university student that learns about the opening of a national vocal audition and, in a last chance to pursue her dream of being a singer, decides to participate in it.

The game counts with 4 bands: Λucifer, Sylphy, XXX and F☆light.

A snippet of the game’s theme song, NEW GENERATION, performed by Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Yuma Uchida, was released in 2018. Check it HERE.
