Makoto Furukawa, Yoshiki Nakajima, Kento Ito and more join jazz project, JAZZ-ON!

Jazz takes, for the first time, the spotlight in a female-targeted project.

JAZZ-ON! is a new project created by Akatsuki Inc.

The project follows the story of 2 jazz clubs that are brought together due to a school merger. Swing CATS, a purist Jazz performance club and Hoshikuzu ryodan, group that enjoys Anisong Jazz are the two clubs. The two groups, with completely different values and ideas on how Jazz should really sound become aware of each other and the story begins.

The project counts with character designs by Akatsuki and plus 81 and drama scenarios by Futaba Hatsuki.

The clubs’ key visuals and cast are the following:

Cast: Yuki Yonai, Wataru Komada, Shunichi Toki, Toshinari Fukamachi, Genki Okawa, Makoto Ishii, Arthur Lounsbery and Shinichiro Kamio.

Hoshikuzu ryodan

Hoshikuzu ryodan

Cast: Makoto Furukawa, Yoshiki Nakajima, Kento Ito, Yoshiki Murakami, Haruki Ishiya, Kengo Kawanishi, Takeaki Masuyama and Shun Horie.

The project released two short music videos with songs performed by members of each club.

Swing CATSNow or Never is performed by Shunichi Toki and Genki Okawa.

Hoshikuzu ryodan‘s 千本桜 星屑旅団JAZZアレンジバージョン (Senbonzakura Hoshikuzu ryodan Jazz Arrange Version) is performed by Makoto Furukawa and Yoshiki Nakajima.

At the moment there are no details on the kinds of media will be developed by this project.
