We break down each one of those for you with this special article.
Anime: Odd episode count
The anime is official scheduled to air on TOKYO MX. The anime premieres on 01/01/2018 (1st and 2nd episodes that were broadcasted in advance), the third episode will premiere on 07/01/2018. The anime is going to have 17 episodes. The first two episodes are going to air as one for a special 60 minutes long episode on its premiere. A new promotional video was released today.
A reminder: Re:vale and ZOOL aren’t going to be featured on this season, only natural given that they are following the game’s plot by the book.
1st Live in 2018
The franchise is going to hold their first live in 2018. At the moment there is no cast confirmed to attend, also the exact date of the event and its venue are still unknown. Fans that purchase the first Blu-ray/DVD from the anime series – to be released on 23/02/2018 – can enter a raffle to win tickets for the show.
New music
The details regarding this are minimal. Opening and ending themes for the anime series were announced but there is no information about single titles or who’s going to perform the both themes. The opening theme (rumored to be performed by IDOLiSH7) is going to be released on 14/02/2018. The ending theme (rumored to be performed by TRIGGER) is going to be released on 28/02/2018. All singles come with 4 songs (2 of those are instrumental versions).
More goods are on their way
For those of you that might enjoy collecting goods from this franchise, this is a great news. IDOLiSH7 is going to continue to expand their range of goods in 2018. A ナナイロストア (Nanairo Store) is going to open on 17/11/2017.
PS Vita game
Titled “Twelve Fantasiaツアー“, the PS Vita rhythm game is going to be released on 15/02/2018. A promotional video is out. More information can be found HERE.
IDOLiSH7’s songs to be featured on Taiko no Tatsujin
For those living in Japan, the popular game Taiko no Tatsujin – available at game centers – will feature IDOLiSH7‘s songs. More details will be unveiled at a later date.
Novel about Re:vale and Banri to be serialized
Re:member, novel about Re:vale and Banri, is going to be serialized. WEB Hakusensha Novels will serialize it on November 17th and LaLaDX will do it on December 9th.
And that’s all for today’s news about the IDOLiSH7 franchise.
For those that might be unfamiliar with the game, here’s a brief intro to each group of the franchise.
