Hypnosis Mic to kick off 2nd Battle CD series in 2021

Hypnosis Mic‘s crews are going to kick off the 2nd Battle CD series in 2021 with pretty exciting matchups to look forward to.

Hypnosis Mic’s 2nd Battle CD series is set to kick off in February 2021 and will count with 3 battles, this time around including Dotsuitare Hompo and Bad Ass Temple.

According to EVIL LINE RECORDS, this time around there will be a 3-round voting system.

1st round of voting: attendees of the Hypnosis mic –Division Rap Battle- 6th LIVE concerts and respective live viewings will vote until 1 week after the day of each concert.

2nd round of voting: conducted through purchase of the BATTLE CDs, closing 2 weeks after each CD goes on sale.

3rd round of voting: to be announced on a later date.

A promotional video of the 2nd Battle CD series is out.

The match ups are:

  • 24/02/2021 (First battle): Dotsuitare Hompo (Osaka) vs Buster Bros!!! (Ikebukuro)
  • 10/03/2021 (Second battle): Bad Ass Temple (Nagoya) vs Matenro (Shinjuku)
  • 24/03/2021 (Third battle): Fling Posse (Shibuya) vs MAD TRIGGER CREW (Yokohama)

These are the same lineups as the upcoming live shows taking place in January and February 2021.

More details on each of these releases are going to unveiled in the upcoming months.

On another note: Hypnosis Mic’s crews to be represented at Momoiro Uta Gassen on December 31, 2020.

Hypnosis Mic’s crews are going to face in a 3-part Hypnosis mic –Division Rap Battle- 6th LIVE.

Additionally, a “revenge” live to make up for this year’s Hypnosis mic- Division Rap Battle – 5th LIVE is going to be held in August 2021.

The franchise is also going to release Straight Outta Rhyme Anima in January 2021, featuring the insert songs in the anime series, Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle – Rhyme Anima.
