GRANRODEO unveils details on new single “THE OTHER SELF”

GRANRODEO

Japanese hard-rock band GRANRODEO has previewed their newest single today, the band’s 20th single.

The song will be called “THE OTHER SELF” and will be used as the opening for the second season of the basketball-themed anime “Kuroko’s Basket” (Kuroko no basuke). The single is scheduled to be released on October 16th and will have three editions: regular, deluxe, and anime (the cover will be anime-related).

Taniyama Kishow, GRANRODEO’s frontman will also play a character in the anime.

It’s not the first time GRANRODEO has lent their talents to create songs to be featured in anime. The singles “Can Do” and “RIMFIRE” were also used as opening songs in the first season of “Kuroko’s Basket” anime. Their latest single “Henai no rondo” was also used as the opening of the Josei anime “Karneval”. Code:Breaker and Togainu no Chi are also other anime that had their songs featured.
