Fun4re and illuvista join XlamV in the VS AMBIVALENZ franchise. Both units are set to debut in August 2024.

In May 2024, during a livestream, it was announced that the VS AMBIVALENZ franchise is welcoming 2 new groups, comprised of the 7 members that didn’t make it to the final lineup (that we now know as XlamV).

What is VS AMBIVALENZ?

VS AMBIVALENZ is a 2D music project by NIZISTA. Only 7 out of the 14 members were selected via fan voting from 2021 to late 2022. This was the very first time a 2D music project embraced such a format.

XlamV (read: Kranve) consists of Jintaro (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi), Nagomu (CV: Shintaro Asanuma), 39YEAH↗ (CV: Makoto Furukawa), Issei (CV: Kengo Kawanishi), Lion (CV: Tasuku Hatanaka), Auguri (CV: Ayumu Murase), and Subaru (CV: Reiou Tsuchida).

And now, the franchise welcomed two new groups: Fun4re and illuvista.

  1. Finally my boys will debut, my favorite are Kazu, Mio and Cion, they are split in two units, but still feel rewarding :”)

Behind the character I like how Hatanaka Tasuku sounds in his interpretation of Kazu, in general more soft yet powerful, Kawanishi Kengo has something that always call my attention, and for me, this is the first project where I hear him singing. With Kobayashi Chiaki, I had a great blast with his energetic characterization with Jintaro, so, now hear his singing voice with Cion that contrast in color and mood, will be interesting.

Though as character they rest are not in my “oshi” spot, I can denied how wonderful are Tsuchida Reiou, Ayumu Murase, Furukawa Makoto and Shintarou Asanuma. They won my heart in XlamV, so now in their respective group I want to experiment this new journey with fun4re and illuvista.
