from ARGONAVIS franchise to go on indefinite hiatus by the end of 2025

from ARGONAVIS hiatus

Unfortunate news for fans of the mixed-media rock franchise from ARGONAVIS as the smartphone game is shelved and the project announced its hiatus by the end of 2025.

Thank you very much for your continued support of the from ARGONAVIS project.

I am Nayuki Kitaoka, the producer of from ARGONAVIS.

We have decided to end the service for the mobile game ARGONAVIS: Kimi ga mitta stage e, which launched in February 2024.

The reason for this decision is that we can no longer provide a level of service that satisfies our users. We are grateful to everyone who has engaged with Kimisute. We also sincerely apologize for the early termination of this service.

As a project, without the app game service at its core, continuing from ARGONAVIS through live events and other activities alone has become difficult. Therefore, we have decided to put the project on indefinite hiatus by the end of 2025.

We considered a range of options, including fully concluding the project or continuing in a reduced or different format. We understand that “indefinite hiatus” may feel like an unclear term for all of our supporters. However, we believe that by taking a break and recharging, we may have the chance to reimagine and expand the from ARGONAVIS project in the future, and so we have come to this decision.

In 2025, we will roll out as much of the project as we can. We plan to hold a final event in the latter half of 2025 before the hiatus. We are working hard to adjust so that each band can have its own stage. Additionally, we will continue with CD releases and music distribution efforts. The main story of the app game, which was left incomplete, will also be continued in the form of a voice drama for everyone to enjoy.

We apologize deeply for the disappointment this decision may cause to all of our supporters and everyone involved in the project.

Through various developments until the hiatus, we hope to express our gratitude. And beyond that, we will strive to bring from ARGONAVIS back to you once again.

Thank you for your continued support of the from ARGONAVIS project.

from ARGONAVIS Producer,
Nayuki Kitaoka
