DIG-ROCK: Music and drama intertwined

A new rock music + drama CD project is here, meet DIG-ROCK.

DIG-ROCK branches out from the drama CD series MintLip. This is a mixed media project that incorporates music with drama CDs.

DIGNITY PRODUCTION is a talent agency that houses actors, voice actors, models, musicians, idols, having grown remarkably in the last couple of years. Represented by this talent agency is a popular and very active rock band, RUBIA Leopard.

RUBIA Leopard attracted overwhelming support from young people, with their live tours being very popular, making their presence in the music industry boom.

Impish Crow, a popular indie band, recently joined DIGNITY PRODUCTION. The beginning of a rivalry between the popular band, RUBIA Leopard, and the rookies, Impish Crow ensues.

RUBIA Leopard is a popular rock band fronted by AKANE (CV: Makoto Furukawa), with guitarist KURONO (CV: Kaito Ishikawa), bassist MASHIRO (CV: Takuya Sato) and drummer HAIJI (CV: Natsuki Hanae).

Shiki Iwahara (CV: Wataru Komada) is the band’s manager.

Impish Crow is an indie rock band fronted by TSUGUMI (CV: Yuma Uchida) with guitarist TOKI (CV: Takuya Eguchi), bassist MITSURU (CV: Wataru Hatano) and drummer HIBARI (CV: Shinnosuke Tachibana).

Sora Tobikura (CV: Kento Ito) is the band’s manager.

A short drama is out.


On a first wave of releases, each band is going to release 3 CDs that are going to be released alternatively for 6 consecutive months starting this August.

The releases are the following chronologically:

  • 28/08/2019 – DIG-ROCK Impish Crow Vol.1
  • 25/09/2019 – DIG-ROCK RUBIA Leopard Vol.1
  • 23/10/2019 – DIG-ROCK Impish Crow Vol.2
  • 27/11/2019 – DIG-ROCK RUBIA Leopard Vol.2
  • 25/12/2019 – DIG-ROCK Impish Crow Vol.3
  • 22/01/2020 – DIG-ROCK RUBIA Leopard Vol.3

Details on Impish Crow‘s first release, DIG-ROCK Impish Crow Vol.1, and RUBIA Leopard‘s first release, DIG-ROCK RUBIA Leopard Vol.1, are out.

DIG-ROCK Impish Crow Vol.1 is scheduled to be released on 28/08/2019, available in regular edition.

DIG-ROCK RUBIA Leopard Vol.1 is scheduled to be released on 25/09/2019, available in regular edition.

This release is going to include the song Answer.

More details on both releases are going to be unveiled in the upcoming weeks.
