DIG-ROCK: HOUND ROAR joins the lineup + new CD series to kick off

Introduction

DIG-ROCK is a 2D rock music franchise created by TEAM Entertainment in 2019. The franchise branches out from the drama CD series, MintLip. This is a mixed media project that incorporates music with drama CDs.

DIG-ROCK counts with 3 rock bands of different backgrounds and sound.

Meet the bands

RUBIA Leopard is a popular rock band within the franchise.

It is fronted by AKANE (CV: Makoto Furukawa) and counts with guitarist KURONO (CV: Kaito Ishikawa), bassist MASHIRO (CV: Takuya Sato) and drummer HAIJI (CV: Natsuki Hanae).

So far, the band released the following CDs:

• Chained to You
• Never End
• Higher Ground
• Prisoner
• Identity
• TRIGGER

Impish Crow is an indie rock band fronted by TSUGUMI (CV: Yuma Uchida) with guitarist TOKI (CV: Takuya Eguchi), bassist MITSURU (CV: Wataru Hatano) and drummer HIBARI (CV: Shinnosuke Tachibana).

So far, the band released the following CDs:

• RISE
• Pump It!!
• Beyond the Sky
• Be Ambitious!!
• Grow
• Ride the Wind
• Faith

HOUND ROAR is a rock band fronted by HIBIKI (CV: Toshiyuki Toyonaga), with guitarist SHOMA (CV: Ryohei Kimura), bassist TOYA (CV: Hikaru Midorikawa), keyboardist SHION (CV: Yuichiro Umehara) and drummer SOGO (CV: Takashi Kondo).

The band joined the franchise in 2021.

New CD series: dice

It was announced during DIGP CHANNEL -SPECIAL GIG-, special event held on January 31, 2021, that RUBIA Leopard, Impish Crow and HOUND ROAD – new band part of the DIG-ROCK franchise – are going to participate in a new CD series, dice.

The release dates and titles are the following:

• 24/03/2021 – Impish Crow “DIG-ROCK ―dice― Type：IC”
• 28/04/2021 – RUBIA Leopard “DIG-ROCK ―dice― Type：RL”
• 26/05/2021 – HOUND ROAR “DIG-ROCK ―dice― Type：HR”
• 23/06/2021 – Impish Crow vs HOUND ROAR “DIG-ROCK ―dice― Type：IC×HR”
• 28/07/2021 – RUBIA Leopard vs HOUND ROAR “DIG-ROCK ―dice― Type：RL×HR”
