Japanese star seiyuu Daisuke Ono is releasing in September, as described on the actor profile on Lantis webpage (his record label), an album entitled: Up stairs / Down stairs. This will be the 4th album release by one of the most famous/prolific seiyuu in Japan. Born in Kōchi Prefecture, Japan in 1978, Daisuke Ono, best known between seiyuu or his fans as OnoD, has rose to fame with his role as the demonic butler in the 2008 anime “Kuroshitsuji” (Black Butler) that earned him an award on the 4th Seiyuu Awards in 2010 for Best Voice Actor. Known for his natural deep and charming voice plus his cheerful personality, Daisuke Ono is a man with his hands full: he has two major radio shows going on: DGS (Dear Girl Stories) – with fellow seiyuu Kamiya Hiroshi and Dragon & Tiger – with fellow seiyuu Kondo Takayuki.
Has also founded the seiyuu supergroup “Project Daba” whose members have all been born in 1978. Tachibana Shinnosuke, Hino Satoshi, Fukuyama Jun, Majima Junji, Kondo Takayuki and Suganuma Hisayoshi are the members together with OnoD. Ono-san also has a show called “Mag Net” focused on everything related to manga and anime. Being a voice actor as well as a singer and radio host, Daisuke Ono is, without a doubt, one of the best entertainers in Japan with a talent beyond words.
So after this intro you get so see the covers for each part of the album and the respective tracklists. We get to hear some songs already known to the fans, some hits like “Delight”, “Lunar Maria” or even “熱烈ANSWER”. “Up stairs” won’t have any new songs so it’ll consist basically in a collection of the later singles that haven’t been featured in an album but “Down stairs” will feature two new songs which will be pretty interesting to listen to.
