Band Yarouze! to end distribution in March

Band Yarouze! will join the list of great, unique games that recently ceased distribution.

It was announced via Band Yarouze!‘s official website, that Aniplex + Sony Music decided to stop distribution of the popular smartphone game on 29/03/2019 at 15h JST.

Band Yarouze! started to be distributed on October 12, 2016 after some hiccups that delayed its release, and counts with the following bands on its lineup: OSIRIS, BLAST, Fairy April, Cure2tron, DesTIRARE, CrystalCross and Freezing. Soon after its release, the game was praised for its story as well as music quality. In 2017, Band Yarouze! announced the addition of a new band in 2018, Xenon. The band was introduced in-game but the cast was never announced.

The game was in a limbo since 2018, when both companies announced the halt of game updates. However, after leaving the game still available to install and play, fans were still optimistic about the game’s future.

Unfortunately, after releasing 3 Best Of albums and wrapping it all up with the release of the special Duel Gigs BOX in late March, the game officially comes to an end.
