14th Seiyuu Awards ceremony cancelled due to concerns over Coronavirus

Seiyuu Awards announced a change of plans for this year’s edition after due the current Coronavirus outbreak.

Seiyuu Awards, official award ceremony that takes place yearly to award seiyuu in the most varied categories, was going to hold its awards ceremony on 07/03/2020 at Nippon Culture Broadcasting Media Plus Hall.

It was announced yesterday that the Awards ceremony is officially cancelled. This announcement joins several made in the last 24 hours due to the increased concerns of the spread of the new type of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The winners will still be announced via A&G+’s radio show that will still air on 07/03/2020. Results will be able to be followed on Seiyuu Awards’ official twitter account.
